Why should I create an account?

Sign up for an online account at Asbury Apothecary and you’ll be glad you did. We’ll do everything in our power to treat everyone with an online account like a member of the family. Creating an account has many benefits, like being able to track your orders and your order history. You’ll also be able to look up your previous orders and reorder with ease. The checkout process goes much faster because your billing and shipping information is stored. You’ll also be able to join our online community by rating our products and writing reviews (and we offer discounts to everyone who rates and reviews our products). We’ll also keep you up to date on all sales and upcoming product launches. We’ll give you first dibs on these sales and products and occasionally we have member-only offers. And if you want to unsubscribe from receiving our newsletters and offers, just send us a message asking to be unsubscribed. We’ll hate to see you go but we understand. So what are you waiting for?

How do I create an account?

We here at Asbury Apothecary like easy and simple. And creating an account is no different. Simply click on the “My Account” tab in the menu and follow the directions. It’s that simple!

I’d like to update my information.

Updating your information is an easy and painless process. Simply click on the “My Account” tab in the menu bar and click on “edit your password and account details” if anything need to be updated. And that’s all there is to it!

Help! I can’t remember my password!

It happens to all of us at one time or another. But never fear, recovering and resetting your password is a simple process. Click on the “forgot password” button at login and follow directions. You’ll be back up and running in no time.

How do I pay for my order?

Asbury Apothecary accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover as forms of payment on our site from cards registered in the United States only. We also accept Paypal as a form of payment. We do not accept American Express at this time, however we will be adding this capacity soon. Any credit card information entered into our site is secure and safe. We use SSL encryption, thereby protecting any credit card information that is submitted when placing an order order. If you are uncomfortable entering your credit card information online, we will be pleased to accept your order by phone.

If your credit card is declined, we will inform you and request a new credit card number. Please provide your new credit card number within 5 days so we can fulfill your order without you having to resubmit your order.

I need to cancel my order.

We understand. But again, it’s important to be quick. Our fulfillment teams turn around our orders very quickly and ship packages out the following day. If you would like to cancel your order, please let us know ASAP. You can send us an email or call us at (404) 885-5767. If your package has left our fulfillment center, then you will need to wait for the package to arrive and then request a refund.

Where the #&*@! is my order?

If you want to track the status of your order, simply follow the tracking number included in the shipping confirmation email you receive. You can track your order as it makes its journey across the country to your mailbox. Whoops! I forgot something. Can I add it to my order?

Of course you can, but be quick. Our fulfillment teams are pretty fast and like to turn our orders around quickly. So if you’ve hit that submit button and want to add an item(s) to your order, let us know ASAP. You can send us an email or call us at (404) 885-5767. Our orders ship the following day. If we are able to catch the shipment before it heads out the door, we will be happy to add another item into your package. To expedite your request, please have your order confirmation number available. We will always do our best to accommodate your needs.

Hey, I want a coupon!

We love coupons. Especially the ones that you don’t have to clip. Asbury Apothecary sends out coupon codes on a regular basis. If you would like to be on the list, sign up for our newsletter and we’ll keep you in the loop.

If you have a coupon code and want to redeem it on our site, please enter the code into the appropriate box at checkout. The discount will be applied to your total.

How many things can I order at one time?

Products ordered on our website are not for resale. We have a limit of no more than six (6) of the same item can be purchased per day. We also have a maximum purchase of $500 on our website per day. If you would like to make a purchase that is greater than this amount, please send us an email and we’ll be happy to set you up.

How is my order processed?

We process orders in the order in which they are received, Monday through Friday (excluding major holidays). Orders received after 2:00PM EST will be processed the following day. Please allow 2 business days to process your order. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped.

Are your products organic?

Most of our products are certified organic and we proudly carry the Certified Organic seal. We mark each product and indicate on the product label whether or not the product was made with organic ingredients. And because we use natural ingredients in our product formulations, our products can vary in color and consistency with each new batch that we make. These natural variations do not in any way affect the quality or efficacy of the product.

Are your products safe?

At Asbury Apothecary, we take the safety of our products very seriously. We uphold the highest standards of safety for all of our products and we adhere to rigorous standards for all of our products. We are fully compliant with FDA regulations as well as Health Canada regulations. Each and every ingredient that is used in our products has been thoroughly reviewed and tested. We have also tested the use of all of our products to make sure that there is no danger in toxicology by consuming the recommended amount of our products.

We stand behind every product that we sell and we pledge to uphold the highest standards of safety for our customers.

What goes in to our products is the most important component of our products. Our product ingredients are carefully selected, not for esthetics but for their benefit to the skin. We use naturally derived ingredients with a hint of science added to improve their performance. Minimal preservatives are used in our formulations. Our intent is to utilize only the gentlest and most efficacious ingredients and that is why a great number of natural ingredients are used. Products are always formulated with sensitive skin in mind.

I have an allergy. What should I do?

We are careful to include every ingredient in our products on the product label. This information is also listed with each product on our website. If you have an allergy to any substance, please refer to the product list before making a purchase.

Are your products tested on animals?

Our products are not tested on animals. We tried to ask both the dog and the cat if they wanted to try out some of our products, but neither of them seemed interested enough to wake up from their nap.

What are your products made of?

At Asbury Apothecary, we list every single ingredient that goes into our products on the product label and on our website. We encourage you to read our product labels. The more you know about ingredients, the better you will appreciate our products. If you have a question about any of our products, check the label. And if you have any further questions, feel free to contact Customer Care by email.

How should I store my products?

Our products should not be exposed to variances in temperature and should be kept out of direct sunlight. Our products should be stored in a cool, dry place. Bathrooms are not usually ideal locations for product storage, because the temperature and humidity levels change frequently. We recommend using a sterile disposable, plastic spatulas or swabs to dispense creams packaged in jars instead of fingers.This is to decrease the potential introduction of bacteria from the fingertips into the product. After you’ve finished using our products, please be sure to close lids tightly. Bottle tops should be fully closed when storing our products.

How long do your products last?

Because of we use naturally derived ingredients in our product formulations, our products have a shelf life. We recommend that face creams be used within three months of purchase. Body creams and hair conditioners should be used within six months of purchase. Cleansing products, including shampoos and body cleansers, generally have a shelf-life of one year or more from date of purchase. Our supplements should be consumed within one year from the date of purchase. Our herbal teas should be consumed within one year from the date of purchase.

How much does shipping cost?

We want to make the shipping process easy. Shipping is calculated and displayed in your shopping cart. The shipping rate is based on the size of the item, the weight of the item and the distance that the item has to travel from our warehouse in suburban Atlanta. And if your order totals $75 or more, we offer complimentary shipping.

How are your products shipped?

Our standard shipping carrier is USPS. However, we will use another carrier when necessary. Our orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays from our shipping facility in Atlanta, GA. Please allow 2 business days to process your order and 3-5 days to ship your order. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands can take 6-8 business days. We ship all of our orders via ground transportation, so the further away from Atlanta you are, the longer it will take to reach you.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately we do not offer international shipping right now. We will be adding a shipping option to Canada very soon. We will also be selling our products across the globe in the near future. Stay tuned!

Help! My shipment was ripped apart when it went through the mail. What do I do?

It happens sometimes. If there is a problem with your order, such as an item damaged during shipping or if the order you receive is different from the order you placed, please send us an email or call us at (404) 885-5767. We carefully prepare each shipment by hand to ensure safe transit and we will make every attempt to replace items damaged during shipping and get your replacement items as quickly as possible.

Hey, this isn’t what I ordered. What should I do?

Humans are the ones that gather your items for shipment. And sometimes humans make mistakes. If the order you receive is different from the order you placed, please contact Customer Support as soon as possible by email or call us at (404) 885-5767. We will try and correct the situation as best as we can and send you any items that may have been omitted from your order. To expedite your request, please have your order confirmation number available. We will always do our best to accommodate your needs.

What is your returns policy?

We hope that you enjoy your Asbury Apothecary products. However, if you purchase anything from us that you aren’t happy with, you may return your purchase for a full refund or store credit in the amount of your purchase, whichever you prefer. All returns and exchanges must occur within 30 days from the date of purchase. Get in touch with Customer Support by email or call us at (404) 885-5767 within the 30 day window and we will instruct you on how to return your purchase.

Do you collect any of my personal information?

We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you (Personal Information) or allows us to contact you. Generally this information is requested when you create a Registration ID on the site or when you make a purchase, sign up for our newsletters or participate in a discussion on our articles. We use your Personal Information for four primary purposes:

  • To make the site easier for you to use by not having to enter information more than once.
  • To process your transaction when you purchase one of our products.
  • To help us improve our website by creating content most relevant to you based on the information and feedback we receive from you.
  • To alert you to special offers, updated information and other new services from Asbury Apothecary.
What do you do with my personal information?

When you join us, you provide us with your contact information, including your name and email address. We use this information to send you updates about your order, questionnaires to measure your satisfaction with our service and announcements about new and exciting products that we offer. When you order from us, we ask for your credit card number and billing address. We use this information only to bill you for the product(s) you order at that time. For your convenience, we do save billing information in case you want to order from us again, but we don’t use this information again without your permission.

We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, including packaging, mailing and delivering purchases, answering customer questions about products or services, sending postal mail and processing event registration. We will only provide those companies the information they need to deliver the service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

Asbury Apothecary will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Asbury Apothecary or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Asbury Apothecary and its family of Web sites, and, (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Asbury Apothecary, its Web sites, or the public.

What happens if I don’t want to share my personal information?

If you choose not to register or provide personal information, you can still use most of But you will not be able to access any areas that require registration.

If you decide to register, you will be able to select the kinds of information you want to receive from us by subscribing to various services, such as our newsletters and sale alerts. If you do not want us to communicate with you about other offers regarding Asbury Apothecary products or events by e-mail, postal mail, or telephone, you may select the option stating that you do not wish to receive marketing messages from Asbury Apothecary.

How can I manage my personal information on your site?

We will provide you with the means to ensure that your personal information is correct and current. You may review and update this information at any time at the Member’s Profile area. There, you can:

How do I know that my personal information is safe?

Asbury Apothecary has taken strong measures to protect the security of your personal information and to ensure that your choices for its intended use are honored. We take strong precautions to protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

We guarantee your e-commerce transactions to be 100% safe and secure. When you place orders or access your personal account information, you’re utilizing a secure server software SSL, which encrypts your personal information before it’s sent over the Internet. SSL is one of the safest encryption technologies available. Our SSL certificate is signed by GeoTrust and offers 256-bit SSL encryption.

In addition, your transactions are guaranteed under the Fair Credit Billing Act. This Act states that your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 in fraudulent credit card charges. If your bank does hold you liable for $50.00 or less, we’ll cover your liability provided the unauthorized, fraudulent use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own and from purchases made from us over our secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with their reporting rules and procedures.

Asbury Apothecary strictly protects the security of your personal information and honors your choices for its intended use. We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Your personal information is never shared outside the company without your permission, except under conditions explained above. Inside the company, data is stored in password-controlled servers with limited access. Your information may be stored and processed in The United States of America or any other country where Asbury Apothecary, its subsidiaries, affiliates or agents are located.

You also have a significant role in protecting your information. No one can see or edit your personal information without knowing your user name and password, so do not share these with others.

We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent. As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their information at anytime by logging into their control panel and going to the ‘Edit Profile’ page.

Are you compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act?

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

Every registered customer has a unique personal profile. Each profile is assigned a unique personal identification number, which helps us ensure that only you can access your profile.

When you register, we create your profile, assign a personal identification number, then send this personal identification number back to your hard drive in the form of a cookie, which is a very small bit of code. This code is uniquely yours. It is your passport to seamless travel across, allowing you to make purchases, order free newsletters, and join into discussions on our site without having to fill out registration forms with information you’ve already provided.
